Chapter One: LiDAR Focusing, Now Available to Everyone
DJI is introducing the LiDAR Focus System as a standalone product for the first time, allowing a broad user base to experiment with creative focusing options.
All-new handle, versatile capabilities
The newly designed DJI Focus Pro Grip features 2.5 hours of system power, intuitive on-screen controls, automatic calibration and data storage for 15 lenses, Bluetooth recording start/stop, and manual shooting, enabling exceptional LiDAR focusing, even without the Ronin gimbal.
The handle, equipped with a color touchscreen, supports LiDAR and motor parameter settings and allows for real-time viewing from the LiDAR perspective, so the user has a complete overview during use.
The DJI Ronin app includes built-in lens data that can be imported into the Focus Pro Motor via a Bluetooth connection to the handle. A single motor can store data for up to 15 lenses.
The handle can be connected directly to mirrorless cameras via Bluetooth to start/stop recording wirelessly. It can also be paired with the DJI Ronin app via Bluetooth to complete manual lens calibration. [1]
The handle supports 2.5 hours of power for both the LiDAR and focus motors. It also allows for continuous use while charging via third-party PD fast charging batteries.
Bigger and wider focus
LiDAR now has a longer focus distance of up to 20 meters between person and object, [2] approximately three times that of the previous generation, [3] making it easy to shoot with telephoto lenses. The ultra-wide 70° FOV allows for easy edge compositions and close-ups, greatly increasing creative freedom.
More precise and stable focusing
The improved LiDAR now has 76,800 measurement points, 77% more than the previous generation,[3] improving human edge detection while effectively reducing focus hunting. Plus, the LiDAR’s 30Hz refresh rate means focus is reliably locked even when the subject is moving quickly.
Smarter focusing
New AI algorithms enable more reliable recognition of people and vehicles. Even if an object is momentarily obscured, LiDAR can quickly regain focus.
Autofocus speed can be adjusted in five levels. Lower levels allow for finer focusing, while higher levels allow for faster, more sensitive focusing.
In multi-subject scenarios, it is possible to quickly change focus between different subjects.
There are two focus area modes, Wide and Flex Spot. In Wide mode, LiDAR can automatically detect and focus on people and vehicles. In Flex Spot mode, users can manually select any object they want to focus on.
Flexible combination for different scenarios
Focus Pro consists of four main modules: LiDAR, Motor, Handle and Hand Unit. Users can flexibly combine these modules according to different requirements.

Chapter Two: AMF, Human-Machine Collaboration
Featuring the groundbreaking AMF mode, used for the first time in both the Hand Unit and the grip, DJI Focus Pro sets a new standard for human-machine collaboration in focus control, meeting a wide range of creative demands.
High-quality focusing
In AMF mode, the front dial on the grip (or the focus knob on the Hand Unit) is rotated simultaneously while autofocusing. This allows creators to both visually monitor focus status on the monitor and intuitively perceive the autofocus logic through haptic feedback, allowing for prompt decisions about when manual intervention is required.
Switching between manual and automatic mode in milliseconds
Focus control is always at your fingertips. In AMF mode, manual focus control can be switched on and off in milliseconds. This not only captures the filmmaker's intent with greater precision and ensures a consistent way of shooting, but also significantly improves on-set efficiency by reducing the number of interruptions caused by focus mode changes.
Dynamic focus, the best of both worlds
Innovative AMF features deliver limitless creative possibilities. In AMF mode, LiDAR, combined with creator control, delivers a focusing experience that is both efficient and convenient, yet elegant and dynamic. It’s a seamless hybrid experience that combines the power and reliability of technology with the intuition and creativity of creators.

Bird's-eye view focus assist
With DJI Focus Pro LiDAR, creators can gain a more intuitive understanding of the spatial position of their subject and utilize LiDAR Waveform [4] focus assistance through
DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor, giving them a bird's-eye view of the entire scene. In addition, LiDAR Waveform offers additional information such as subject position, real-time focal plane reference line, and distance meter to help evaluate autofocus status and predict the optimal moment for manual intervention.
Chapter Three: FIZ Lens Control
