The DJI Lito X1 is a next-generation drone designed with a single goal in mind – to bring professional-quality aerial photography into the hands of the widest possible audience. Whether you’re a complete beginner holding a controller for the first time or a seasoned enthusiast looking for a reliable companion for everyday content creation, the DJI Lito X1 offers specifications that are unrivaled in this price and weight category. The compact design weighing under 249g means no compromise in performance. On the contrary, DJI has managed to pack a large 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor, a three-axis gimbal, an omnidirectional obstacle avoidance system with a front LiDAR sensor, DJI O4 transmission technology, and 42GB of internal storage into this small device. The result is a product that is light and compact for everyday use, but at the same time technically advanced for professional output.
The DJI Lito X1 builds on the proven folding design of DJI drones, which allows for quick deployment and reassembly without the use of tools. With a weight of less than 249 g, the drone falls into the lowest regulatory category in many countries, including EU member states, which means significantly fewer administrative requirements for the average user and more freedom in choosing a flight location. Wind resistance of up to 10.7 m/s corresponds to a wind force of 5 on the Beaufort scale - the drone can therefore handle common weather conditions in nature, in the mountains and at the coast without losing stability. The overall impression of the design is complemented by a three-axis gimbal with the ability to tilt the camera up to 40° downwards, a technical parameter that significantly expands the compositional possibilities. While the standard gimbal allows shooting straight down (90°) or forward, the extended tilt range of 40° allows you to capture dramatic diagonal perspectives that give the shots a cinematic character.

A key technical parameter of any drone is the size and quality of the image sensor. The DJI Lito X1 uses a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor with a resolution of 48 megapixels - this is one of the largest sensors in this class of drones. The size of the sensor directly affects the ability to capture light: a larger sensor captures more light at the same exposure time, which is reflected in significantly lower image noise when shooting in poor lighting conditions - for example, at dusk, in the shade of buildings or under cloudy skies.
The f/1.7 lens is one of the brightest in the compact drone category. In practice, the f/1.7 aperture means that a large amount of light enters the sensor, which allows for shorter exposure times and thus prevents blurring of moving objects. The combination of a large sensor and a fast lens makes the DJI Lito X1 a device capable of providing sharp and detailed recordings even in conditions where smaller drones struggle with noise and loss of detail.
The maximum resolution of still images reaches 8K (48 MP). Images at this resolution contain a huge amount of image information, which you will appreciate when printing large-format, when significantly cropping the resulting photo without losing quality, or when delivering material to professional clients. For everyday use - sharing on social networks, viewing on the screen or regular printing - such a resolution is more than sufficient.
The camera includes a SmartPhoto feature that automatically analyzes the scene being captured and optimizes exposure, brightness, and color. Available at 4K (12MP), the feature is primarily intended for beginners or situations where you don't need to manually adjust settings. At the maximum resolution of 8K, SmartPhoto is disabled, leaving full control to more experienced users who prefer to customize exposure settings and post-process raw footage.
The DJI Lito X1 offers several different video modes, each optimized for a different type of use.
The basic and most widely used mode is 4K/60 fps HDR. 4K resolution (3840 × 2160 pixels) is today the standard for professional video production, and its combination with a frame rate of 60 fps guarantees a smooth image without tearing even with fast movements of the camera or the tracked object. HDR mode with a dynamic range of up to 14 EV is a technical feature that significantly expands the drone's ability to capture high-contrast scenes. In practice, this means that when filming a landscape with the sun on the horizon, the drone will simultaneously preserve detail in the bright sky and in the dark foreground - without burnt white or lost black areas, which is a common problem with videos shot without HDR support.
For capturing fast-moving action in slow motion, there’s 4K/100 fps mode. Slow motion video shot at 100 fps and played back at a standard 25 fps provides four times the slow motion – movements that would only register as a moment to the naked eye unfold into a seamless sequence. This mode is ideal for documenting extreme sports, natural phenomena, animal movements, or any fast-moving dynamic scenes where you want to emphasize every detail of the movement.
For advanced creators working in post-production, the 10-bit D-Log M color profile is available. Standard video is recorded in an 8-bit color space, which means 256 shades for each color channel and a total of 16.7 million colors. 10-bit recording provides 1024 shades per channel and a total of more than 1 billion colors. In practice, this means significantly more room for color correction in post-production - material shot in D-Log M will retain detail in both highlights and shadows even after aggressive color adjustments, which is the basis for achieving the cinematic look of the final video.
For social media purposes, the drone supports vertical shooting in 2.7K resolution. The 9:16 vertical format is the native format for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts – videos shot in this format directly from the drone do not need to be cropped or converted, which greatly simplifies the content creator's workflow.

One of the most significant technical features of the DJI Lito X1 is a set of intelligent flight and camera features that allow even a user without aviation experience to capture complex and visually impressive footage.
Dronie is a movement in which the drone moves away from the subject being filmed and at the same time rises, gradually revealing the surrounding landscape - an effect typical of the opening shots of films or music videos. Rocket is a direct vertical ascent with the camera pointed downwards - a shot that gives the feeling of rapidly moving away from the ground. Circle ensures circling around the subject at a constant distance and height, which creates an elegant orbital shot. Helix combines circling with ascent and creates a spiral movement around the subject, which dramatically changes the perspective during one continuous shot. Boomerang describes an oval path, in which the drone moves away and then returns to its original position with a smooth change in the angle of view. Asteroid is the most technically interesting movement - the drone takes a panoramic shot and then creates a unique visual sequence in which the panorama is transformed into a dramatic attack on the subject being watched.
Panoramic modes are available for capturing expansive scenes – 180-degree panorama, wide-angle panorama, vertical panorama and full 360° spherical panorama. Spherical panorama allows you to create an interactive view that can be published on platforms that support 360-degree content.

The DJI Lito X1 is equipped with a multi-level safety system that significantly reduces the risk of a crash even when used in complex environments.
The omnidirectional obstacle avoidance system uses a network of cameras located around the drone’s perimeter, which continuously monitor the space in all directions – front, back, sides, top and bottom. The system is functional in a minimum illumination of 5 lux, which corresponds to conditions before dusk or in the shade of a dense forest. When an obstacle is detected, the drone automatically adjusts its flight path to avoid a collision, or stops and waits for further instructions from the operator.
The front LiDAR sensor supplements the camera detection system with active distance measurement using a laser beam. LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) works on the principle of measuring the time of flight of a laser pulse from the sensors to the obstacle and back, which provides accurate distance data regardless of the lighting conditions. The combination of the camera system and LiDAR in the front direction creates a reliable dual safety system that can detect even thin objects such as wires or branches that the camera system itself could miss.
The Smart RTH (Return to Home) function ensures that the drone automatically returns to the take-off point in case of signal loss, battery drain, or upon manual instruction from the operator. The visual positioning system allows the drone to remember the flight path in a well-lit environment and navigate back even without an available GPS satellite signal - this feature is useful, for example, when flying indoors or in an environment with GPS interference.
For beginners , the DJI Simulator flight simulator is available as an app for iOS and Android. The simulator allows you to practice flying the drone in a virtual environment without any risk of damage to the device or the surroundings. The user can practice basic maneuvers, familiarize themselves with smart features and try out different flight scenarios before taking their first real flight.

DJI O4 technology is the latest generation of DJI's video transmission system. It provides stable live video transmission in 1080p resolution at 60 fps at a maximum distance of 15 km according to the IC standard or 8 km according to the European CE standard. Both values are measured under ideal conditions without interference - in practice, the range is affected by buildings, the presence of other wireless devices and terrain. Nevertheless, the 8 km CE range is more than sufficient for the vast majority of civilian flight scenarios.
Stable transmission without dropouts and delays is key not only for smooth control, but also for monitoring footage in real time directly on the DJI RC 2 controller screen. The image transmission delay with DJI O4 technology is minimal, allowing for precise framing of shots and immediate response to changes in the scene.
The 42GB internal storage is integrated directly into the drone and allows for instant filming and photography without the need for an external memory card. For reference, 42GB is enough to store several hours of 4K video or thousands of photos. This feature is especially practical when traveling, when it is easy to forget your memory card, or in situations where you need to back up recordings to a second storage medium at the same time.
Transferring footage from the drone to a smartphone or computer is ensured by the QuickTransfer function using Wi-Fi 6. The maximum transfer speed reaches 50 MB/s, which means that the entire contents of the internal storage (42 GB) can be transferred in approximately 14 minutes. The Off-State QuickTransfer function allows you to start the transfer even when the drone is turned off - just connect power via USB-C and start the transfer in the app.
The DJI Lito X1 has a flight time of up to 36 minutes with the standard Intelligent Flight Battery. This value was measured in a wind tunnel in a windless environment, at sea level altitude and a constant speed of 21.6 km/h - this is a realistic value under favorable conditions. In practice, the actual flight time varies depending on the flight speed, wind, ambient temperature and the intensity of use of intelligent functions.
36 minutes is enough time to capture a complex flight sequence including takeoff, positioning, multiple shots and landing. For more demanding projects that require longer time in the air without the need for battery replacement, the Fly More Combo Plus with Intelligent Flight Battery Plus extends the flight time to 52 minutes. This result is exceptional in the compact drone category.
Important note: When using the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus, the drone weighs over 249g. In the EU and UK, this may result in the drone being reclassified to a higher regulatory category with stricter registration and operating requirements. This battery is only approved for the DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo Plus (DJI RC 2). We recommend that you always check the current aviation regulations in your country or region before use.
The battery is charged via the USB-C connector directly on the drone or using a charging hub. For simultaneous charging of up to three batteries, the DJI Lito X1 Two-Way Charging Hub accessory is available, which requires a charger that supports the Power Delivery (PD) protocol with a minimum output power of 45 W. Charging via USB-C is compatible with common travel chargers and power banks, which significantly increases flexibility when traveling without the need to carry a specialized charging adapter.
DJI RC 2 Controller
The Fly More Combo comes with the DJI RC 2 controller, which has an integrated screen with enough brightness to comfortably view the drone's transmission even in direct sunlight. The DJI RC 2 does not require a smartphone connection - it works as a standalone device with its own screen, which simplifies setup and eliminates issues related to phone compatibility or mobile device battery consumption.
The DJI Lito X1 covers a wide range of users. For travelers and vacationers, it offers a compact device that fits in a backpack and allows you to capture views from above without having to carry bulky professional equipment. For content creators for social networks, support for vertical shooting in 2.7K, QuickShots and the MasterShots function are key, which minimize the time needed for post-production. Beginning photographers and videographers will appreciate the combination of a large sensor and intelligent automatic functions, which will allow them to achieve professional results without years of experience. Athletes and active people will use ActiveTrack for reliable tracking while running, cycling, skiing or surfing. For family documentation of special moments, the DJI Lito X1 is the ideal tool to capture weddings, celebrations or trips from a perspective that a regular camera cannot provide.
