A single DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitter weighs only about 11 grams (excluding the magnetic clip and magnet). This is less than most microphone clips, ensuring that you simply won't feel it during long filming. The removable and rotatable magnetic clip allows flexible adjustment of the microphone angle - whether it is clipped on the side or upside down, it always points the microphone precisely at the sound source and ensures ideal sound capture in any situation.
DJI Mic Mini 2 comes with two standard magnetic front caps in Obsidian Black and Glaze White, which are included in the standard package of the kit (2 transmitters + 1 receiver). For those who want to be original, there are eight additional color variants of magnetic front caps sold separately. Whether you are filming in the city or doing outdoor sports, the colored caps turn your microphone into a fashion accessory that easily adapts to a variety of situations. The caps can be replaced in a split second - simply remove the old one and attach the new one.

The improved charging case neatly stores the transmitter, receiver and accessories, keeping everything organized and ready to go. The case can store transmitters with the windscreen and magnetic front cover attached, as well as with the magnet or magnetic clip attached. You can store the magnet and magnetic clip or audio adapter cable inside the lid of the charging case.
There is also a new version of the mobile phone charging case, designed to meet the diverse needs of recording on the go.
One of the most striking features of the DJI Mic Mini 2 is its three preset sound modes, which you can adjust to suit your style and situation directly in the DJI Mimo app:
These modes can be selected in the DJI Mimo app, with the default setting being Regular. The feature is not supported when directly connecting to a phone via Bluetooth.
Ambient noise can ruin even the best recordings, so the DJI Mic Mini 2 features two-stage active noise cancellation that can be adjusted to suit your environment:

With the attached windscreen, the transmitter effectively blocks wind noise and other unwanted sounds, ensuring clear and crisp audio even in windy or noisy environments. It is ideal for live streaming, vlogging, cycling, or any outdoor activity. There are five color options for the windscreens (sold separately) to match your other color accessories.
The gain can be quickly adjusted in five levels using the rotary control on the receiver. Proper gain adjustment can effectively improve sound clarity and adapt the microphone performance to the specific situation. The operation is simple and intuitive, so you can manage without a manual.
When Safety Track is enabled in the DJI Mimo app, DJI Mic Mini 2 can record on two tracks simultaneously. The main track records audio at normal volume, while the second track records audio 6 dB quieter. This feature helps prevent issues such as wake-up or audio distortion – especially during live broadcasts or unpredictable audio situations.
DJI Mic Mini 2 supports omnidirectional wireless audio recording with a sampling rate of 48 kHz and 24-bit depth. This ensures accurate, detailed, and professional sound – the same standard used in professional recording studios and film productions.
The rotating clip keeps the microphone pointed precisely at the sound source no matter how you attach it, further enhancing recording quality.
When the auto-limiting function is enabled, DJI Mic Mini 2 will automatically lower the volume if the input signal is too loud. This function prevents sound from being overdriven and ensures high-quality recording even in unexpected audio situations – such as loud applause, shouting, or sudden sound effects. This function is enabled by default.
DJI Mic Mini 2 uses the DJI Mic Mini receiver and can be easily paired with cameras, smartphones, computers, and tablets. Thanks to this universal compatibility, you can handle it no matter what device you use to film.
The DJI Mic Mini receiver allows for combined connection with the DJI Mic Mini and DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitters simultaneously, making it easy to record from multiple sources at once. For example, you can record two speakers in one stream without the need for additional accessories.

When used with the DJI Mic series mobile receiver and a combination of any two transmitters from the DJI Mic Mini 2, DJI Mic 3, DJI Mic Mini, and DJI Mic 2 models in blue light mode, the transmission distance can reach up to 200 meters in an open environment without interference and obstacles.
DJI Mic Mini 2 supports the DJI OsmoAudio connectivity ecosystem. The DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitter can connect directly to select DJI devices, specifically one transmitter to the Osmo Action 4 and up to two transmitters to the Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo 360, Osmo Nano, and Osmo Action 6.
The DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitter can also connect directly to your smartphone via Bluetooth. When connected directly to a smartphone, the noise cancellation level cannot be adjusted in the DJI Mimo app - it is set to Strong by default. The Low Cut setting is also not supported in the DJI Mimo app.
The DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitter has a magnetic, interchangeable front cover and comes standard with Obsidian Black and Glaze White covers. Multi-colored windscreens and multi-colored magnetic front covers are also available.
To replace the cover, simply pry it out of the groove on the bottom of the transmitter and replace it with a new one.
