The compact DJI Mic Mini has an innovative design that makes it easy to store. The charging case neatly stores two transmitters, one receiver, mobile phone adapters and windscreens. There is no need to remove the windscreens on the transmitters when storing them in the case. The entire set is designed for maximum practicality and convenience in use and storage.

DJI Mic Mini supports omnidirectional audio recording, and the receiver allows pairing with two transmitters simultaneously. Even when recording from multiple sources, the microphone ensures detailed sound reproduction, ensuring high-quality audio at all times.

Two-level noise cancellation

When used with windscreens, the DJI Mic Mini can significantly reduce wind and other noise, making it ideal for windy conditions and noisy scenarios such as outdoor streaming or vlogging.

Strong - Strong level excels in noisy environments, where it significantly reduces ambient noise for clearer voice.

Automatic volume limit to prevent sound awakening

Gain adjustment in 5 levels

The gain can be quickly adjusted in five levels using the control on the receiver, which makes work easier and, most importantly, faster.

Mono and Stereo recording

DJI Mic Mini supports both mono and stereo (dual-channel) recording. Audio from the two transmitters can be output separately or merged into a single track, offering more options for post-production.

Backup track for extra security

In the DJI Mimo app, you can enable a backup track, which allows you to record on two tracks. The main track is recorded at normal volume, while the backup track is 6 dB lower. This feature protects the audio from issues such as wake-up or distortion, ensuring that you always get a usable recording even at variable volume levels.

Long battery life, stable transmission

The DJI Mic Mini transmitter and receiver provide a maximum operating time of 11.5 and 10.5 hours respectively [6]. A fully charged case provides approximately 3.6 full charges, providing up to 48 hours of extended use [1]. This endurance makes the DJI Mic Mini ideal for long journeys, interviews, and other demanding scenarios.

Fast charging in 5 minutes

Just five minutes of charging will provide approximately one hour of use for both the receiver and transmitter,[7] significantly increasing charging efficiency. With support for 1.2C fast charging, the receiver and transmitter can be fully charged in approximately 90 and 100 minutes,[8] allowing you to get back to work quickly.

Automatic transmitter power saving modes

The transmitter automatically goes into sleep mode when it does not detect a signal from the receiver. Once the signal is detected again, it wakes up and connects to the receiver. This feature allows you to wear the transmitter for a long time without having to turn it on and off frequently.

Automatic shutdown

In the DJI Mimo app, you can set both the transmitter and receiver to automatically turn off after a period of inactivity. When this feature is enabled on both devices, they will automatically turn off if they are not connected for more than 15 minutes, saving battery life.

Stable transmission with anti-interference, range up to 400 meters

Audio can be transmitted up to 400 meters [10], while DJI Mic Mini's powerful anti-interference capabilities ensure stable, high-quality recording even in busy outdoor environments such as crowded streets or large events.

Compatible with the Osmo ecosystem and other devices

The DJI Mic Mini transmitter allows you to connect directly to Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 4, or Osmo Pocket 3 without the need for a receiver. The DJI OsmoAudio™ ecosystem delivers premium audio quality and simplifies your equipment and workflow, supporting a more efficient and seamless creative process.

Compatibility with various devices for universal use

The DJI Mic Mini receiver is compatible with cameras, smartphones, computers, and tablets [11]. When connected to a camera via the Camera Audio Cable (3.5mm TRS), it supports synchronized power on and off with the camera. When connected to a smartphone, it allows external playback without disconnecting, and can be charged directly via the smartphone. When connected to a smartphone and a power source via the USB-C port, both devices can be charged simultaneously during use [12].

Easy wireless recording

DJI Mic Mini is fully compatible with the DJI Neo drone. After connecting the drone to the DJI Fly app, you can pair the DJI Mic Mini via Bluetooth to your smartphone to record audio. The DJI Fly app automatically eliminates propeller noise and merges the audio with the recording, ensuring clear audio even when vlogging at low altitudes. The DJI Mic Mini enables high-quality content creation with excellent audio and video on the go.

Additionally, the transmitter can connect directly to smartphones via Bluetooth without the need for a receiver, making it a convenient solution for mobile streamers and creators using third-party apps [13] for filming.

DJI Mimo app increases operational efficiency

Once you connect the transmitter to your phone via Bluetooth, you can update the firmware directly in the app. When you connect the receiver to your smartphone using the USB-C adapter [14], you can perform a one-click system update. In the app settings, you can adjust noise cancellation, volume limitation, and recording controls.

If the transmitter is connected directly to a smartphone, the noise cancellation level cannot be adjusted in the Mimo app; the default setting is Strong.
