DJI Neo can be paired with the DJI Fly app, remote controller, RC Motion, DJI Googles, and other devices for better flight and camera control.

1. Voice control

Saying "Hey Fly" can launch the DJI Fly app, which allows for voice control. [6][7]

2. Control via app [6]

DJI Neo can connect to your smartphone via Wi-Fi, so there’s no need for an additional remote controller. You can control the Neo using virtual joysticks in the DJI Fly app. This control has a range of up to 50 meters. [8] The app also offers the ability to adjust the angle and tracking distance, allowing you to customize the shooting to your needs.

3. RC control [9]

Once paired with the DJI RC-N3, you can pair the controller with the Neo and achieve a maximum video transmission distance of 10 kilometers (in Europe, the maximum is around 6 km). [10] For more professional shots, you can flexibly control the camera using the classic joysticks on the controller.

4. Immersive control [9]

DJI Neo can be paired with DJI Goggles 3, RC Motion 3, or FPV Remote Controller 3 for up to 10 kilometers of video transmission. [10] When used with RC Motion 3, DJI Neo can perform aerobatics with just the touch of a button, navigate indoors with ease, and maneuver in tight spaces with ease*.

Great image quality

DJI Neo features a 1/2-inch image sensor. It can capture 12MP photos. It can record smooth 4K UHD videos thanks to DJI’s advanced stabilization algorithms. [11] Neo supports multiple resolutions and frame rates for video recording, up to 4K/30fps. [11] RockSteady/HorizonBalancing for videos that preserve all the details.
Neo handles high-speed movement, swings, and is wind-resistant up to level 4. Stabilization algorithms significantly reduce overall image shake and adjust the horizon tilt within ±45° [12], ensuring stable footage.

Easy content creation

DJI Neo has 22GB of internal storage, allowing you to store up to 40 minutes of 4K/30 fps video or 55 minutes of 1080p/60 fps video.

Wireless audio recording

When you connect DJI Neo to the DJI Fly app, it can record audio via the DJI Mic 2,[13] which you connect to your phone via Bluetooth or directly via your phone’s built-in microphone. The DJI Fly app automatically removes propeller noise and blends the audio with the recording to ensure clear audio even when shooting vlogs from low altitudes.

QuickTransfer

No cables needed! Simply connect DJI Neo to your phone via Wi-Fi and quickly transfer footage to the DJI Fly app. The transfer takes place immediately after shooting, making it easy to edit and share.

One-Tap Glamour

Add Glamour Effects to always look great. Just import your footage into the DJI Fly app and you're ready to go.

Easy adjustments

The DJI Fly app offers a variety of templates and sound effects to help you edit videos quickly and easily. You can create and share videos without having to download footage to your phone's storage, saving space.

Stable flight and long battery life

DJI Neo can hover stably in the air thanks to its infrared and monocular positioning system, even in winds up to force 4. It also supports automatic return to home (RTH), making control easier and simpler.

Return to Home (RTH)

You don't have to worry about the drone returning. Neo will automatically return to its launch site after the flight is over, whether you control it via the mobile app or take off and land directly from the palm of your hand. When using the remote controller, Neo also supports Return to Home (RTH) and Failsafe RTH.

Wind resistance level 4

Flight time is 18 minutes.
The DJI Neo has a flight time of up to 18 minutes,[14] meaning you can complete over 20 flights[15] from your palm and back, capturing everything you need.

Direct charging, fast battery recharge

For easy charging, connect the drone directly to a power source via USB-C. Additionally, with the DJI Neo Two-Way Charging Hub [16], you can charge up to three batteries at once, [17] making the charging process faster and more efficient.

3. When using palm takeoff and landing, follow these guidelines: work in calm weather if possible; extend your palm horizontally and keep it still, avoiding contact between your fingers and the propellers to avoid injury; do not attempt to grab the drone in flight.

When paired with DJI Goggles 3 and DJI RC Motion 3, the DJI Neo can record 16:9 4K/30fps videos with RockSteady/HorizonBalancing or record 4:3 4K/30fps videos without stabilization.
12. When controlling the drone using the DJI Fly app or the standard remote controller, RockSteady and HorizonBalancing are activated simultaneously and cannot be turned off. When controlling the drone using DJI Goggles and RC Motion or FPV Remote Controller, you can choose to turn on RockSteady, HorizonBalancing, or turn off stabilization. When controlling the drone without a remote controller or using the DJI Fly app, the HorizonBalancing angle is ±30°. When controlling the drone using the remote controller or motion control, the HorizonBalancing angle is ±45°.
