The DJI RS 5 Lower Quick-Release Plate is designed for precise balancing and quick camera manipulation when working with a DJI RS gimbal. The plate is equipped with a scale on both sides and a serrated profile on the bottom, which, combined with the fine adjustment wheel of the tilt axis, allows for extremely precise adjustment of the camera position to the millimeter level when changing cameras or lenses.

This solution significantly speeds up the workflow of professional videographers, while also allowing for a quick transition between tripod and gimbal without the need for lengthy rebalancing. Compared to the DJI RS Lower Quick-Release Plate (2024), the interface between this lower plate and the upper quick-release plate is reduced by 1 mm, contributing to better balance and a more compact setup.
