Introducing a new compact and lightweight stabilizer designed for filmmakers and anyone looking to take their production to the next level. The stabilizer is designed for cameras and smartphones. DJI RS 4 Mini features automatic axis locks. When the gimbal is turned on, all three axes are automatically unlocked and locked again when turned off or put to sleep. The new design allows the arms to fold more flat, saving space. Thanks to these improvements, the gimbal can be easily put to sleep with the press of a single button. This significantly speeds up filming, simplifies transitions between shots, and makes storing the gimbal easier.
The fastest switch between horizontal and vertical shooting in the entire RS 3 series [3]. To switch to vertical mode, simply release and press the side rotation lock, remove the horizontal plate, rotate it 90° and re-attach it. The whole process takes just 10 seconds, so you can shoot straight away.

The lightweight RS 4 Mini, with a load capacity of 2 kg, allows for convenient use with Sony A7 mirrorless cameras with 24-70mm F2.8 GM II lens or Sony ZV vlogging cameras. Even when combined with DJI Mic [5], additional lights and other accessories, the camera maintains smooth and stable movement [6].
A new feature is smartphone support – thanks to the phone holder [7], you can quickly switch to mobile stabilization, significantly increasing the versatility of the stabilizer.
Once paired via Bluetooth [6], you can start or stop recording directly with a button on the gimbal, without the need for a cable trigger. A new zoom control feature enables Power Zoom for PZ lenses and Clear Image Zoom – just move the joystick. After the first pairing, the camera will automatically connect every time you use it.
The touchscreen now displays icons more clearly and offers faster response. New are the stabilizer status indicators and the ability to fine-tune parameters directly using the front dial. In addition, the display includes an automatic lock, which when locked will display the current gimbal and joystick mode with reduced brightness.

The DJI RS Intelligent Tracking Module [7] is a new versatile accessory for the DJI RS 4 series. It can track a subject up to 10 meters away and works reliably even in challenging conditions, such as in environments with multiple people. If a subject temporarily leaves the frame, the gimbal will automatically find it and resume tracking [11]. The tracking module uses a magnetic quick-release system that allows it to be attached to the gimbal's tilt axis in one second. Thanks to the strong magnetic lock, the module remains securely in place, eliminating the risk of it coming loose or falling during filming and ensuring maximum reliability.
Activating or stopping tracking is a matter of pressing the gimbal trigger – quickly and without unnecessary setup. Alternatively, simply raise your palm towards the module, which will recognize you as the main subject within one second and automatically start or stop tracking. This feature is especially useful for vloggers and content creators.
The new Responsive Mode provides faster gimbal responses to hand movements when starting and stopping, perfect for dynamic orbital shots.

The RS 4 Mini is equipped with the improved 4th generation RS stabilization algorithm, which effectively balances stabilization power and natural camera movement. As a result, it offers excellent stability and a smooth shooting experience.
