Version: DJI Terra Standard 1 year (Offline)
DJI Terra is a next-generation professional 2D/3D modeling software. It uses advanced technologies including 3D Gaussian Splatting, supports visible spectrum photogrammetry, LiDAR data processing, and produces accurate digital outputs for mapping, geodesy, construction, energy, agriculture, and smart city applications.
In combination with DJI drones, it offers a comprehensive solution for data collection, processing, and application, significantly accelerating the entire aerial mapping workflow.
DJI Terra introduces Gaussian Splatting technology, which enables the rapid creation of extremely detailed and realistic 3D models from photographs. It reliably reconstructs a variety of scenes - historical objects, architecture, city blocks and natural environments.
Compared to traditional oblique photogrammetry, it significantly improves the processing of fine details, vegetation, transparent and reflective surfaces. In addition to more natural renderings, it also generates deformation-free orthomosaics for even more accurate results.
Terra processes approximately 500 photos per hour, allowing you to complete a single modeling block in just 30–40 minutes. For large datasets of over 10,000 photos, reconstruction is up to 2x faster than Terra Mesh, reducing project time and significantly increasing efficiency for large-scale mapping.
Optimized resource management allows you to process up to 30,000 photos within a single project.
For 1 GB of RAM, Terra can process approximately 300–400 photos, which allows for reliable reconstruction of complex urban scenes, industrial sites, or extensive infrastructure.
Terra minimizes hardware requirements, making it run smoothly with:
This significantly reduces initial investments and makes advanced 3D reconstruction accessible even to smaller companies or municipalities.
One-click export supports standard formats for Gaussian Splatting:

DJI Terra generates:
The user can adjust mesh density, map quality, and export results in a wide range of professional formats.
Thanks to precise integration of data from DJI drones with RTK modules, Terra achieves centimeter accuracy even without GCP.
Special optimizations for drones like DJI Matrice 4E ensures stable accuracy even in challenging terrain conditions.
It is ideal for:
Thanks to DJI Terra's powerful computing engine:
This enables quick decision-making on urgent and challenging projects.
DJI Terra integrates LiDAR data with RGB imagery, allowing you to create:
This creates high-quality and complete outputs for bridges, transformer stations, industrial facilities, or complicated infrastructure.
By utilizing RTK/PPK technologies, DJI Terra can achieve survey-grade accuracy even in difficult conditions and without an extensive network of control points.
Terra can:
It also supports new models:
Terra can handle approximately 1 GB of point cloud data per 1 GB of RAM.
A workstation with 32 GB of RAM can process up to 120 GB of data, which is a coverage of approximately 10 km².
For city-scale projects , 128 GB of RAM and above are also supported.
The software processes multispectral data from:
And it will create:
These outputs provide an accurate overview of the health of crops.
DJI Terra can generate prescriptive maps for:
and creates optimized routes for DJI Agras drones.
It also supports variable dosing, which reduces costs and increases yields.
Cluster reconstruction allows you to process datasets for smart cities, industrial zones, and large state projects:
With five worker nodes, Terra can process 30,000 photos in 21 hours.
The number of workers can be scaled according to the size of the project.
DJI Terra works closely with DJI drones and sensors:
This makes it possible to deploy combined RGB, LiDAR, and multispectral solutions in a single ecosystem.
One click sends the model to DJI Modify, where you can:
The result is a complete string:
Aerial Data Collection → Reconstruction → Editing → Sharing and Application
DJI Terra has integrated advanced PPK (Post-Processed Kinematic) tools that ensure highly accurate aerial mapping results in any conditions.
The platform supports local PPK processing of RGB images, as well as local and cloud PPK processing of LiDAR data.
This makes it possible to achieve centimeter-level position accuracy even in areas with poor connectivity, limited signal, or where RTK is not available.
When reconstructing from the visible spectrum, users can import and mark both control points (GCPs) and control points, which are used to accurately calibrate 3D models and point clouds.
DJI Terra supports semi-automatic point selection with automatic recognition at sub-pixel accuracy, which significantly speeds up GCP marking and reduces manual workload.
The checkpoint function allows you to verify the accuracy of the reconstruction at any stage of the project, ensuring maximum reliability of the resulting data.
DJI Terra includes more than 8,500 built-in coordinate systems, which supports local systems, seven-parameter transformations, and PRJ file import.
The user can flexibly set the exact configuration of the coordinate system according to the needs of the project.
The software also intelligently recommends the most appropriate coordinate system based on the user's location, ensuring seamless compatibility of outputs with local standards and enabling accurate, fully customized data exports.
DJI Terra offers clear and intuitive annotation and measurement tools, including precise measurement of points, lines, areas, and volumes.
By clicking anywhere in the 3D model, the user can instantly view the corresponding camera position and the original photo, allowing seamless switching between the model and real images from data collection.
This procedure significantly speeds up detailed inspection, comparing the condition of objects, and verifying the situation in the field.
Terra supports multiple export formats to meet the professional requirements of engineering, surveying, design, and management applications.
