ND filters or neutral gray filters are classified as effect filters. You will appreciate them the most in contrasting lighting conditions and in direct sunlight. The amount of light falling on the sensor can be regulated better and more precisely, thanks to which the overall color rendering can be recorded in a better quality. The resulting images then appear more dramatic. ND filters with lower values can be used both for photography and video recording. ND filters are available in different strengths. The filters are equipped with anti-reflective layers that increase light transmission, resulting in sharper and more contrasted images.
The ND4/PL filter helps reduce the shutter speed by 2 EV, for shooting under overcast skies in low light, while reducing distracting reflections on shiny surfaces such as windows or water.
The hybrid ND8/PL filter helps reduce shutter speed by 3 EV, for low-light shooting, while reducing distracting reflections on shiny surfaces such as windows or water.
The hybrid ND16/PL filter helps reduce the shutter speed by 4 EV, for shooting even in very sunny weather, especially in the morning and early morning, while also reducing distracting reflections on shiny surfaces such as windows or water surfaces.
The hybrid ND32/PL filter helps reduce the shutter speed by 5 EV, for shooting in strong sunlight, especially in the morning and early morning, while also reducing distracting reflections on shiny surfaces such as windows or water. With this filter, you can even achieve a cinematic "motion blur" effect.
The ND64/PL hybrid filter helps to reduce to the lowest possible value for the most effective "motion blur" effect. Reduces distracting reflections on shiny surfaces such as windows, water surface or snow.
CPL filter - limits unwanted reflections from shiny surfaces, such as water surface, snow or windows.
