Advanced video stabilization keeps footage smooth even in challenging terrain, so you can take on any adventure. The camera is durable, waterproof to a depth of 10m. After filming, connect the GoPro camera to the charger. Footage is automatically uploaded to the cloud while charging.

You can choose between recording in 8-bit or 10-bit colors and encoding with the GP-LOG function. The 10-bit setting can display up to 1 billion colors, bringing better color depth, smoother gradation and more realistic videos. Advanced users can use GP-LOG to record more details.
You can connect the sound from the HERO12 Black camera wirelessly to compatible devices via Bluetooth. Vloggers can wirelessly connect an external microphone that better captures the sound when talking or interviewing.
HERO12 Black brings 3 time-lapse and photo modes. Star Motion mode takes advantage of the Earth's rotation to capture the stars as beautiful trails of light in the night sky. The Light Painting mode allows you to create brilliant brushstroke effects using the movement of light. Vehicle Light Trails mode records night traffic in the form of stunning light trails.
With the new interval shooting function, you can capture the action at regular intervals. The images are taken care of and you can concentrate on whatever you are doing. HindSight captures up to 30 seconds of footage before recording begins, so even if you press the shutter button too late, you'll still get the shot you want. There are also Timed Recording features, which allow you to set the GoPro up to 24 hours in advance to turn itself on and record, and Recording Duration features, which allow you to easily capture video clips from 15 seconds to 3 hours long.
In the GoPro Quik application, you will find a wide range of tools with which you can edit footage like a pro. In post-production, you can change digital lenses on photos and videos.
When you connect the camera to the cloud, you can easily and quickly send photos and videos from it to your phone. Either wirelessly via the Quik application, or lightning fast via a USB cable.5 You can also use an SD card to transfer content to a computer and then back it up to the cloud.
