Plávajúci obal zabraňuje potopeniu kamery tým, že zostáva plávať na povrchu vody. Obal je ľahko viditeľný vďaka žiarivej oranžovej farbe. Obal je navhnutý tak aby bol ľahký prístup k tlačidlám fotoaparátu, mikrofónu a k obrazovke. Na spodnej strane kamery sú prístupné skladacie držiaky, ktoré sú kompatibilné s Quick Release Mount a Cold Shoe. Plávací obal je vyrobený z EVA ľahkého a odolného materiálu.
