Instead of constantly changing out different filters, this single filter saves you precision time in the field by allowing you to easily select a new ND value. This filter allows for adjustments from 2 to 5 stops, which is equivalent to individual ND4, ND8, ND16, and ND32 filters. Each setting reduces the amount of light entering the camera lens, allowing you to manually control shutter speed and exposure in bright lighting conditions.
Made from German SCHOTT optical glass, this VND filter has been ground and polished multiple times to provide high-resolution image and video capture, as well as achieving a low refractive index that results in more accurate color reproduction. With an anti-reflective coating, it is ideal for use in sunlight around glass buildings, snow or water. It reduces reflections while increasing color saturation and contrast.
