Generic neck straps are mostly derived from DSLR accessories — they are unnecessarily thick, heavy, and lack the features that a Pocket camera really needs. The Pocket-Series Camera Strap is fundamentally different. The entire system was built around three specific problems that owners of the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and older generations deal with most often: slow camera unfastening when it's time to shoot, the inability to carry the camera and its protective case at the same time, and uncertainty about whether the strap will withstand daily use. Each of these problems has a specific solution in the design of this strap.
The original PGYTECH quick release works in one motion. The camera is attached and detached without having to use both hands, search for the lock or deal with screws. For the average vlogger or travel photographer, this means a few seconds faster reaction time every time you capture a shot. The Quick Bead is made of UHMWPE — ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. The material was originally developed for industrial applications and has a certified load capacity of 10 kg / 22 lb. For the DJI Osmo Pocket, which weighs around 180 grams, this means more than a fifty-fold safety factor. The thin 0.5 mm cable makes it easy to thread and handle every day. The main strap is made of 5mm high-strength cable, hand-knitted using a traditional technique. It's not just a matter of aesthetics — hand-knitting creates an even structure without weak spots that would crack or tear under repeated stress. In practice, this means that the camera strap resists dust, light moisture, and mechanical pressure much longer than cheap synthetic alternatives.
The bottom of the strap has multiple attachment points that allow you to attach additional accessories — such as a small LED panel, external microphone, or filter pouch. This is a practical thing for content creators who work with minimal accessories. Each strap also includes a microfiber lens cleaning cloth. It may seem like a small thing, but when your lens fogs up or gets dirty in the field, you'll appreciate that the cloth hangs directly on the strap and you don't have to look for it in your backpack.

One of the practical limitations of pocket cameras is this: if you want to carry the camera in a protective case, you have to take it off before filming. And put it away somewhere. The dual-mount system of this strap solves the situation differently. The camera and the protective case are worn at the same time — the case remains attached to the strap, so you don’t have to put it away anywhere. You unclip the camera, film, and when you’re done, simply put the camera back in and close the case again.
