The Luna Ultra Vybe Collection combines the speed of magnetic attachment with creative filters that give your footage a distinctive cinematic look right on the fly—without the need for lengthy color correction in post-production. It’s the perfect choice for creators who want to achieve a stylized look quickly and easily.
Ultra-light magnetic design
The filters use a magnetic mounting system that allows for quick replacement without screwing or holding back – ideal for dynamic filming and quick changes to visual style in the field.
Portra Filter – nostalgic warm tone
Inspired by the legendary Portra film stock, this filter gives images a warm, soft and nostalgic character, especially popular with portrait and lifestyle photography.
CineGold – golden hour effect
The CineGold filter creates a warm rolloff in the lights, giving you a golden hour atmosphere even outside of a true sunset – ideal for emotional and cinematic shots.
CineBlack – elegant cinematic contrast
CineBlack offers a subtle and smooth transition in bright areas of the image, achieving an elegant, cinematic look with natural, balanced contrast.
Cinema Series glass
Cinema Series optical glass is exceptionally sharp and can fully resolve even the most demanding full-frame sensors – without losing detail, contrast or image sharpness.
The Luna Ultra Vybe Collection is ideal for filmmakers, content creators, and anyone who wants to give their footage a unique, cinematic, and stylized look right on the fly – with the added benefit of quick magnetic filter changes without compromising on quality.
The Insta360 Luna Ultra's bright f/1.8 lens lets in a lot of light, which results in very fast shutter speeds when shooting in daylight. The result is a sharp, "video" look instead of smooth, cinematic motion. The ND (Neutral Density) filter reduces the amount of light hitting the sensor, allowing you to set the right shutter speed for a cinematic effect while maintaining proper exposure.
The 180° rule is a basic principle of filmmaking that ensures naturally smooth motion. The shutter speed should be approximately twice the frame rate. When shooting at 24 fps, the ideal shutter speed is around 1/48–1/50 s, at 30 fps around 1/60 s, and at 60 fps around 1/120 s. Without an ND filter, bright daylight forces the camera to use a much faster shutter speed, resulting in a choppy and unnaturally sharp image instead of the smooth, cinematic motion blur.
The PolarPro Vivid Collection for Luna Ultra includes three combination ND/PL filters that cover most lighting conditions:
This combination allows you to maintain the correct shutter speed according to the 180° rule from a cloudy morning to the harsh midday sun.
A standard ND filter only reduces the amount of light hitting the sensor.
The ND/PL filter combines an ND filter with a polarizing filter, so in addition to regulating light, it also suppresses reflections from water surfaces, wet surfaces, glass or tree leaves. It is ideal for filming near water and outdoors. The PolarPro Vivid Collection combines both functions into one magnetic filter, so with a single change you get the correct exposure, richer colors and higher contrast.
No. PolarPro filters for the Insta360 Luna utilize Cinema Series optical glass with low refractive index and color neutral coatings. They provide precise exposure control without color shifts, loss of sharpness, or optical distortion when shooting video in both 4K and 8K.
The filters use a magnetic mounting system that simply clips directly onto the Insta360 Luna camera lens. No threads or adapters are required, so you can swap out individual ND filters in seconds based on the current lighting conditions while filming.
