The DJI Power 500 is a charging station with an impressive battery capacity of 512 Wh and a maximum output power of 1000W. It is capable of powering high-powered appliances such as electric kettles (900 W). The station has two USB-C output ports (max. 100W). Fast charging of selected DJI drones with DJI Power SDC super fast charging function for more carefree flying and enhanced creativity. Fully charged in 70 minutes, quick start. When connected to the mains, the Power 500 supports 540W and 270W charging, with the fastest charging time being 70 minutes for 100% battery.
Using separately sold charging cables, you can quickly charge selected DJI drone batteries using the DJI Power SDC super-fast charge function [5] and take off with the drone in approximately 30 minutes. Thanks to three batteries
and a DJI portable charging station, you can enjoy carefree flight and content creation with your drone.
The DJI Power 500 is equipped with dual two-way USB-C ports, dual AC output ports, dual USB-A ports and one SDC Lite port. This makes it highly versatile and enables easier use in various situations. It can be connected to different types of solar panels, power cables and adapter cables.
Ports:
100W USB-C Two-Way port × 2
24W USB-A port × 2
SDC Lite port × 1
AC output port × 2
AC input port × 1
DJI Power 500 can be recharged in four ways: from a socket, via USB-C, solar and from a car. So you can choose the charging method that suits you best in the given situation.
From the socket
When connected to the mains, DJI Power 500 supports both 540W fast charging mode and 270W standard charging mode, with the fastest charging time to 100% of the battery being 70 minutes. It charges to 80% in just a few seconds
50 minutes. [1]
From the car
With the DJI Power Car Power Outlet to SDC Power Cable (12V/24V), you can recharge the DJI Power 500 using a car charger to get a fully charged station in six hours. [1]
Via USB-C
The DJI Power 500 can be charged via two 100W USB-C ports [7] for a total input of 200W, and a full charge takes approximately three hours. [1]
Solar
DJI Power 500 can be connected to solar panels via
DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT) or DJI Power Car Power Outlet to SDC Power Cable, [8] and charge it with environmentally friendly solar energy. MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) is an intelligent algorithm that supports real-time tracking of the voltage generated by connected solar panels. By monitoring and maintaining the highest voltage and current (VI) values, the algorithm allows the solar panels to charge the DJI Power 500 in an optimized and efficient way.
If an electrical device is connected to the DJI Power 500 (via the AC output port)
and both devices are powered from the mains, the DJI Power 500 will switch to UPS (uninterruptible power supply) mode. In the event of a sudden power outage, the DJI Power 500 can start powering the connected device (or devices) within 0.02 seconds, [11] ensuring continued operation.
The DJI Power 500's noise level during charging is only 25 dB [12], which is less than
in most domestic refrigerators.
Dual USB-C Two-Way Ports (100W Max)
Dual 100W USB-C Two-Way ports support both power input and output [7] and support PD 3.0 fast charging protocol, enabling efficient output and input. Both ports can simultaneously charge the DJI Power 500 with a maximum power of 200W, or separately power devices such as cameras, phones and laptops with a maximum power of 100W.
