The Freewell ND16 filter reduces light transmission by 4 EV. ND filters or neutral gray filters are classified as effect filters. You will appreciate them the most in contrasting lighting conditions and in direct sunlight. It allows better and more accurate regulation of the amount of light falling on the sensor, thanks to which the overall color performance can be recorded better. The resulting images then appear more dramatic. ND filters with lower values are then used both for photography and video recording. The filters are equipped with anti-reflective layers that increase light transmission, resulting in sharper and more contrasted images.
