Description

PolarPro - CineBlack filter - 49mm

PolarPro CineBlack Filter 49mm is a premium Black Mist filter that brings a cinematic look to smaller and compact cameras and lenses. With 1/2 intensity, it softens sharp digital contrast, creates subtle "highlight bloom" effects, and preserves rich shadow depth.

This 49mm diffusion filter is ideal for travelers and creators who want to achieve a cinematic look without the hassle of post-production. CineBlack delivers natural light transitions and a soft image, mimicking classic Kodak Cine film.

Can I combine CineBlack with other filters?

FAQ

How is PolarPro - CineBlack different from other Black Mist filters?

CineBlack was designed to push diffusion even further without sacrificing contrast. Compared to our standard 1/4 Black Mist filter from the 135 series, CineBlack has a denser particle structure that creates a more pronounced highlight glow and more visible halos, while maintaining depth in shadows and black tones.

What intensity should you choose?

  • 1/2 provides a more pronounced “bloom” effect and vintage transition of lights, especially when light sources are directly in the frame.
  • If you are shooting commercial projects, interviews, or during golden hour, 1/4 is recommended.
  • For stylized shots or stronger film emulation, 1/2 is more suitable, which will give the shots more impact.

Does PolarPro - CineBlack affect colors or exposure?

No. CineBlack is designed to maintain neutral color accuracy and exposure. The diffusion layer only affects the texture of light and the softness of light reflections, not the color tone or ND level.

Do you want me to write it in a more marketing version - for example, in the style of "no unwanted coloring, just a film look"?
