With an improved integrated propeller cover design, the Avata 2 drone is lighter and more agile, allowing it to navigate freely in tight spaces. Releasing the throttle pedal on the RC Motion 3 or pressing the lock button will stop the drone, allowing you to calmly handle unexpected situations. In addition, the automatic return to home (RTH) function is activated when the drone's battery is low or if the signal is lost, adding an additional layer of security.
Advanced Positioning with New Sensors New binocular fisheye sensors enable visual downward and backward positioning during low-altitude and indoor flights, increasing flight stability and safety.
Turtle Mode The Avata 2 can automatically flip back to the takeoff position when upside down and turtle mode is on, so you can get back in the air quickly.
DJI O4's improved video transmission stability allows you to fully immerse yourself in every flight and provides greater safety. Its dual-transmitter, four-receiver, and four-antenna design ensures strong anti-interference performance, and boasts a maximum video transmission distance of up to 13 km, transmission latency of only 24 ms, high-definition 1080p/100fps image quality, and a maximum transmission bit rate of 60 Mbps.
Watch DJI Goggles 3 live stream from Avata 2 in the DJI Fly app on your smart device. Connect up to 5m away. Sharing the excitement of FPV just got easier and learning to fly more accessible than ever.
The DJI Avata 2 is a FPV (first-person view) drone that requires a DJI Goggles series product, a DJI RC Motion series product, or a DJI FPV Remote Controller product to operate. This immersive flight experience captures the fun of freely navigating your environment. The DJI Avata 2 offers unique camera angles and a smooth, playful control experience unlike other consumer drones.
Unique Recording Perspective: With an integrated propeller cover designed for safety, the DJI Avata 2 can fly at low altitudes, indoors and in wooded areas, or even under bridges, getting incredibly close to objects. These images and videos are from unique angles.
Fun Control Experience: Paired with DJI RC Motion 3, users can quickly learn to fly without complicated and extensive instructions. There is a beginner mode to ensure safety and Easy ACRO function to increase the fun of flying. When used with DJI FPV Controller 3, users can fly in manual mode (M mode), giving them complete freedom to soar through the sky.
Supports M mode (manual mode) flying*.
* Requires DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 or DJI FPV Remote Controller 3.
1. The light-sensitive area of the image sensor has been increased, resulting in higher sensitivity and significantly improved shooting results, making it also more suitable for shooting in low light.
2. The dynamic range of the image sensor has been improved, making it more suitable for scenes with high dynamic range.
3. Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) has been improved. When used with DJI RC Motion 3, RockSteady is activated at normal shooting angles and video recording at a frame rate of up to 60 frames per second, resulting in smoother and more stable footage.
4. Supports the 10-bit D-Log M color profile, giving users greater flexibility in post-processing and editing video.
Yes, it offers three selectable modes: RockSteady, HorizonSteady, and Off.
* When stabilization is turned off, footage taken with wide-angle support offline Gyroflow stabilization.
The default electronic stabilization mode for Avata 2 is RockSteady. Users can adjust the settings in the glasses menu under Settings > Camera > EIS.
1. It uses a new hardware solution. The aircraft's antennas have been increased from two (2T2R) to four (2T4R).
2. It features a new frequency band that extends the maximum transmission distance of high-definition live transmission to 13 km*, with a communication bandwidth of up to 60 MHz.
3. The maximum transmission bit rate has been increased to 60 Mbps.
4. When paired with DJI Goggles 3, the latency is only 24ms for 1080p/100fps live streaming and only 40ms for 1080p/60fps live streaming. Measured in an unobstructed outdoor environment without interference. The above data shows the farthest communication range for one-way non-return flights according to FCC standards and is for reference only. Always pay attention to the RTH reminders on the goggles screen during flight.
Differences: DJI Goggles 3 and DJI Goggles 2 are similar in screen size and performance. However, Goggles 3 shows significant improvements in video transmission. When paired with Avata 2, they can achieve a minimum transmission latency of 24 milliseconds.
Improvements: Compared to DJI Goggles 2 and DJI Goggles Integra, DJI Goggles 3 innovates with an integrated forehead rest design that offers superior comfort. The new Real View PiP feature enhances safety during takeoff and landing.
DJI Goggles 3 supports sharing live streams via Wi-Fi. You can share live streams with the DJI Fly app via Wi-Fi and enable live streaming in the app. Some countries and regions prohibit the use of the 5.1 GHz or 5.8 GHz frequency band, or both. In some countries and regions, the 5.1 GHz frequency is only allowed for indoor use. If the 5.1/5.8 GHz frequency band is not available (such as in Japan), screen sharing with a smartphone via Wi-Fi is not available. A wired connection is recommended for screen sharing. Please check and comply with local regulations before flying.
DJI Goggles 3 comes with a built-in diopter correction function, suitable for users with diopters from -6.0 D to +2.0 D. For users outside this range, a combination of the supplied lenses and frames with a value of -2.0 D is available. If you need astigmatism correction or if the built-in correction lenses do not suit you, you can purchase additional lenses from an optician and mount them on the glasses.
