One of the biggest advantages of the DJI Mic Mini 2S is its internal 32-bit float recording. It captures an extremely wide dynamic range of sound, so you don't have to constantly worry about whether you have the microphone sensitivity set correctly. Even with an unexpected loud shout or a very quiet passage, the recording will remain usable and you can edit it in post-production without waking up or losing sound quality.
For greater flexibility, you can also choose whether internal recordings are saved in their original form (Original File) or in an improved version processed using algorithms (Edited File), which includes, for example, sound modes, noise reduction or Adaptive Gain Control directly in the saved file.
The DJI Mic Mini 2S transmitter has approximately 14.5 GB of internal memory, offering up to 28 hours of internal recording in 24-bit recording mode or up to 22 hours in 32-bit float mode. This capacity reliably serves as a backup in case the wireless transmission between the transmitter and receiver is interrupted during filming.
Internal recording can be set to start automatically when the transmitter is turned on, or to be synchronized directly with the receiver - recording starts when it is connected and stops when it is disconnected. If the receiver battery gets low while you are recording, internal recording will start automatically so you don't miss an important recording.
The DJI Mic Mini 2S transmitter works as a 2-in-1 device - it not only serves as a wireless audio transmitter, but also as a standalone voice recorder. This function will be appreciated when conducting interviews, lectures, or taking notes from a meeting.
You can easily transfer recorded files from the internal memory by connecting the charging case directly to a computer or smartphone, at speeds of up to 34 MB/s. Transferring 30 minutes of 24-bit audio takes about eight seconds, significantly speeding up your post-production workflow and saving time when editing your video.
DJI Mic Mini 2S uses a new AI model developed by DJI that can accurately detect and suppress ambient noise without distorting the natural sound of your voice. There are two noise cancellation modes available:

In addition to the classic black and white version, you can customize the microphone to your own style with optional colored magnetic front covers, sold separately in a set of eight colors. For fans of original design, DJI also offers the creative Time Series edition, created by DJI in collaboration with internationally recognized illustrator Victo Ngai. Four original motifs capture different stages of life and give the microphone a unique, artistic look.
Colored windscreens are also available, allowing you to match the microphone to your own taste while improving wind protection when recording outdoors.
When paired with the DJI Mic Mini 2S transmitter and the DJI Mic Mini 2S receiver, wireless transmission reaches a distance of up to 400 meters, which is useful when filming at longer distances, such as at sporting events or outdoors. When used with the mobile receiver (DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver), stable transmission is ensured at a distance of up to 300 meters.
The transmitter itself lasts up to 11 hours of operation on a single charge, the receiver up to 10 hours. A fully charged charging case provides approximately 3.2 full charges, allowing you to extend the total battery life up to 40 hours.
