DJI Mic Mini 2S is a compact, next-generation wireless microphone that delivers professional-quality audio for content creators, podcasters, vloggers, and filmmakers. With internal 32-bit float recording, two-stage AI noise reduction, and expandable configuration up to 4 transmitters + 1 receiver, it offers professional-level reliability and flexibility, even in the most demanding recording conditions.
It offers reliable backup recording thanks to internal recording in 32-bit float format, which will protect your recordings from being woken up even by too low a signal level - so you don't have to constantly monitor the volume. Thanks to 14.5 GB of internal memory, the transmitter offers up to 28 hours of internal recording in 24-bit mode (or up to 22 hours in 32-bit float mode), which will reliably serve as a backup in case of interruption of wireless transmission.
Recording can be set to start automatically when the transmitter is turned on or synchronized with the receiver.
The transmitter also works as a standalone voice recorder – perfect for conversations, lectures or quick voice notes. By connecting the charging case to your computer or smartphone, you can transfer recordings at speeds of up to 34 MB/s – 30 minutes of 24-bit audio is transferred in approximately eight seconds.
DJI Mic Mini 2S uses a new AI model developed by DJI to accurately detect and suppress ambient noise. There are two modes available:
One receiver supports up to four transmitters at the same time, making it ideal for podcasts, interviews and other creative projects. Thanks to mutual compatibility, the transmitters and receivers of the Mic Mini, Mic Mini 2 and Mic Mini 2S series can be combined as needed. Mono, Stereo and Quadraphonic modes are also available, allowing you to adapt your audio recording to different situations. With the DJI Mic Series Camera Adapter, the receiver can be connected to selected Sony cameras and use the separate output of four audio tracks, making it easier to process them separately in post-production.
The transmitter is equipped with approximately 14.5 GB of internal memory, which allows you to store up to 28 hours of audio at 24-bit recording (up to 22 hours in 32-bit float mode). Internal recording can be set to start automatically when the transmitter is turned on, or to be synchronized with the receiver - recording starts automatically when the transmitter is connected and stops when it is turned off. If the receiver battery level drops to a low level, internal recording starts automatically as a backup.
Recording in 32-bit float format captures an extremely wide dynamic range, so you don't have to constantly worry about the correct microphone settings. Even during demanding shooting, the recording can be edited in post-production without waking up or losing quality. Internal recordings can be saved either in their original form (Original File) or in an improved version using algorithms (Edited File).
Weighing only approximately 12g, the transmitter can be conveniently attached using a magnet or clip. The detachable clip can be rotated freely, so the transmitter can be mounted sideways or upside down, always maintaining the correct orientation for clear recording. The new charging case holds two transmitters, one receiver, the DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver and essential accessories – a more compact 1 TX + 1 Mobile RX case is also available for more flexible creation on the go.
The transmitter lasts up to 11 hours on a single charge, the receiver up to 10 hours. A fully charged charging case provides approximately 3.2 full charges, extending the total battery life to up to 40 hours - ideal for long podcasts, interviews or all-day filming. Thanks to the fast charging, five minutes of charging is enough for an hour of operation of both the transmitter and receiver. The device also offers automatic power saving (going into sleep mode without signal), automatic shutdown after prolonged inactivity, synchronized power on/off with the camera and the ability to use while charging.
The DJI Mic Mini 2S transmitter can be directly connected to up to two selected Osmo devices (Osmo Pocket 4, Osmo 360, Osmo Nano, Osmo Action 6) to get high-quality 48 kHz / 24-bit audio without the need for a receiver. The receiver is also equipped with a 3.5mm TRS connector and is compatible with cameras, phones, tablets and computers. The transmitter can be connected directly to a smartphone via Bluetooth and used as a microphone for recording or live streaming. The transmitter stores pairing information for two receivers and one compatible Osmo camera, so it automatically reconnects after the first pairing. connects without interrupting creation.
The microphone offers two gain control modes: Clipping Control (suppresses sudden volume spikes, useful for example on race tracks) and Loudness Balance (automatically maintains a stable volume during interviews and live streaming). There are also three preset sound modes available - Regular (clear, natural sound), Rich (emphasized bass) and Bright (emphasized treble for greater voice clarity).
Weighing only approximately 12 grams, the transmitter can be conveniently attached using a magnet or clip. The removable clip can be rotated freely, so the transmitter can be attached sideways or upside down. There are eight colorful magnetic front covers available, including classic black and white, as well as a limited edition Time Series designed in collaboration with illustrator Victo Ngai.
The new DJI Mic Mini 2S charging case conveniently stores two transmitters, one receiver, the DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver, and essential accessories. The system can be expanded to a 4 transmitter + 1 receiver configuration thanks to compatibility across generations of the Mic Mini, Mic Mini 2, and Mic Mini 2S—ideal for podcasts, interviews, and group recording. Mono, Stereo, and Quadraphonic modes are also available to customize recording for different situations, including a separate quad-channel output (with the DJI Mic Series Camera Adapter for select Sony cameras).
Thanks to DJI OsmoAudio Direct Connection, some Osmo devices (Osmo Pocket 4, Osmo 360, Osmo Nano, Osmo Action 6) can be directly connected to up to two DJI Mic Mini 2S transmitters and get high-quality audio in 48 kHz / 24 bit resolution without the need for a receiver. The receiver is also compatible with cameras, phones, tablets and computers thanks to the 3.5mm TRS connector, the transmitter can be connected directly to a smartphone via Bluetooth and the devices remember their settings for automatic reconnection after the first pairing.
Once paired, the transmission range is up to 400 meters (with the Mic Mini 2S receiver), or up to 300 meters when using the mobile receiver. The transmitter lasts up to 11 hours on a single charge, the receiver up to 10 hours, and a fully charged charging case extends the total battery life to up to 40 hours - ideal for long podcasts, interviews and all-day filming. Thanks to the fast charging, five minutes of charging is enough for an hour of operation. The microphone also offers automatic power saving, automatic power off, synchronized power on with the camera and the ability to use while charging.
You can customize the DJI Mic Mini 2S with eight colorful magnetic front covers and five colorful windscreens. For even more convenient creation , the DJI Mic Series Mobile Receiver and DJI Mic Series Camera Adapter (sold separately) are also available.
