The DJI RS 5 Upper Quick-Release Plate is an upper quick-release plate for DJI RS gimbals, designed for maximum stability and a secure camera mount. It features an adjustable stop guide that fits snugly against the bottom of the camera and acts as a mechanical stop. This keeps the camera firmly in place and prevents it from loosening or shifting, even when using just one 1/4″ screw.
This design is ideal for dynamic filming, frequent movements, and quick manipulation of the camera on the gimbal. Compared to the DJI RS Upper Quick-Release Plate (2024), the plate has a reduced overall height of 2 mm, which contributes to better balance and a more compact profile of the entire assembly.
