Set of sixteen Freewell filters. ND (neutral filters) are filters designed to reduce the amount of light falling on the camera or video camera chip. It is thus possible to gain complete control over the light exposure to achieve the desired effects such as blurring the water surface, waterfalls, cloud cover or preserving the natural motion blur in the video, which would otherwise be impossible to achieve without the ND filter.
The ND16 filter helps reduce the shutter speed by 4 EV, for shooting under clear skies. The filter further helps reduce the "Jello-O" effect.
The ND32 filter helps reduce the shutter speed by 5 EV, for shooting in sunny conditions.
The ND64 filter helps reduce the shutter speed by 6 EV, for shooting in extremely sunny conditions.
