The Freewell ND64 filter for the Insta360 Luna Ultra is a neutral density filter with a light reduction of 6 EV, designed for shooting in very bright sunlight. It allows you to use a longer shutter speed for natural cinematic motion blur and correct exposure. The lightweight, low-profile design with a precise fit does not limit camera stabilization.
ND64 reduces the amount of light passing through by 6 stops. It is intended primarily for very bright sunny conditions, when the weaker ND8, ND16 or ND32 do not provide sufficient light reduction.
By significantly limiting light, you can use longer shutter speeds without overexposing the image. This gives moving subjects a natural motion blur, and the resulting video looks smoother and more cinematic.
