The Insta360 X6 is the most powerful model in the popular X series to date and brings the most significant technological leap in its history. The key innovation is the 1/1.1" sensors, which Insta360 developed in close cooperation with Sony and which capture significantly more light than sensors in previous generations. Thanks to this, the camera can also cope with low-light scenes, where noise or loss of detail has previously occurred. Image processing is handled by the new Triple AI chip, which combines a powerful 4nm processor with two separate image chips. This setup allows for faster 360° video processing directly in the camera, more accurate colors and better noise reduction, all while consuming less power compared to older models.
The most significant change is the resolution itself – the X6 is the first camera in the X series to shoot 360° video in up to 8K at 50 fps. Support for 10-bit color, Dolby Vision, and the professional I-Log color profile have also been added, thanks to which the footage has a greater dynamic range and smoother transitions between colors. The camera can handle photos in a resolution of up to 120 megapixels. It also includes a new PureVideo mode, which significantly improves the quality of night shots and suppresses flicker and noise, and second-generation interchangeable lenses that are more scratch-resistant and easier to replace. The camera also offers a new AI model APEV, which can automatically select the best shots from the footage and prepare a finished video ready for sharing within a few minutes.
New 1/1.1" sensors co-developed with Sony. They capture more light, offer higher dynamic range and significantly better results in low light. The camera can shoot 360° video in up to 8K resolution at 50 fps, so it captures every detail smoothly and sharply, whether you're shooting indoors, outdoors or in low light.

The new Triple AI chip consists of a 4nm processor and two specialized image chips. These take care of image noise reduction, more accurate colors, faster image processing, and seamless stitching of 360° video directly during recording. The result is a noticeably higher quality image with lower power consumption.

Independent light metering for each lens captures the full range of any environment. A new tone mapping module preserves detail in highlights, enhances shadows, and delivers purer colors throughout the frame.
Record and capture your world in stunning native 8K50fps video. Every view, every peak, every moment, exactly as it happened.
Insta360 X6 supports 10-bit recording, Dolby Vision and the professional I-Log color profile, so you can work with the resulting video in editing programs exactly as you wish. The new PureVideo mode, together with a pair of light sensors, significantly improves the quality of night shots and reduces noise and flicker. The camera can handle photos in a resolution of up to 120 Mpx.
PureVideo Mode
Two new ambient light sensors dramatically reduce flicker, while updated software and hardware work together to bring out details from the dark. Night city shots, stargazing, bonfires: the X6 is here for it.
Portrait Optimization
The X6 automatically optimizes skin tone in portrait shots for natural and realistic colors.
A billion colors. Use them all. Shoot the way you want, right out of the box. Record over 1.07 billion colors at 10-bit depth with a choice of color profiles.
Leave room for magic. Preserve the full dynamic range of your shot, ideal for those who want to capture details hidden in highlights and shadows. Edit your shots exactly how you want them.
Powered by industry-leading technologies, the X6 is the first 360° camera with native Dolby Vision. Dynamic, accurate contrast and brightness for stunning results straight from the camera.
The X6 combines a 360° camera, a classic action camera, and a handheld gimbal. In addition to 360° footage, you can also shoot in single-lens mode, up to 5K at 60 fps or 4K at 120 fps. The new InstaFrame 2.0 feature automatically tracks people, objects, and pets and instantly creates a finished 4K video without the need for further editing.
The second-generation lenses are more scratch-resistant and easier to replace than previous models. The camera also has a bright OLED display with up to 1200 nits of brightness and an Always-On Display feature, so you can see if it's recording even when the screen is otherwise off.
The 2600 mAh Xtreme Battery can record in 8K for up to 140 minutes and charges to 80% in approximately 25 minutes. The camera can be submerged to a depth of 20 meters without a protective case and works without any problems even in frosts down to -20 ° C. Thanks to the built-in memory with a capacity of 47 GB, you can shoot even without an inserted memory card.
Patented Star-Ridge cooling removes heat from the most stressed components 10% more efficiently than other 360° cameras, while thermal insulation materials ensure that grip and touch surfaces remain comfortable to the touch. Thanks to this, the camera can handle continuous 360° video recording in 8K at 30 fps without overheating or recording interruptions.
Four microphones with wind protection and automatic audio profile switching ensure clear audio even when driving or in wind. The camera also features FlowState stabilization and 360° Horizon Lock, which keep footage smooth regardless of camera movement. Wireless connection of the Insta360 Mic Air and Mic Pro microphones is also supported.
The built-in NFC chip wakes up the X6 and connects it to the Insta360 app on your phone with one tap.
High-speed transfer – The X6 supports Wi-Fi 6 with wireless transfer speeds of up to 100 Mbps, and via USB 3.1 cable, the speed increases to up to 450 Mbps. So you don't have to wait long for your files.
Improved Bluetooth - Pairing takes 5 seconds, reconnecting takes just 1 second. Bluetooth accessories are ready to use faster than ever.
Smart tracking
Powerful tracking redesigned from the ground up. One tap to focus on people, pets or objects with automatic tracking for stable, smooth footage.
POV Head Tracker
Pair the X6 with the POV Head Tracker and InstaFrame 2.0, then simply look where you want to shoot and the X6 will follow you. The on-screen avatar will move with you while the footage is captured directly as flat video for fun and easy shooting.
Foldable selfie stick
Smooth pan and tilt with the remote control handle for a true gimbal feel and switch between front and rear cameras with a single tap. Folded to just over 6 inches, it fits in your pocket and takes you anywhere.
Smooth, steady shots. Every time. No thinking required.
It will stay horizontal even after the camera is completely rotated. Go ahead, try it.
The Insta360 X6 will be appreciated by travelers, vloggers, athletes and content creators who want to capture experiences in full 360° footage or in classic format in even higher quality than before. Thanks to its durability, battery life and ease of use, it is suitable for beginners and advanced video creators alike.
