1. As of November 2025, the DJI Neo 2 is the most compact drone in DJI's offering, equipped with an omnidirectional obstacle sensing function.
2. The omnidirectional vision system helps ensure flight safety only under certain conditions and is not a substitute for the user’s judgment and control. During flight, always pay attention to the surrounding environment and warnings in the DJI Fly app, and maintain control of the aircraft at all times. The optimal altitude for the visual positioning system is 0.5 to 10 m when the system is used when GNSS signals are not available. Flying outside this range may result in reduced visual positioning performance. Fly with caution. The visual system may not function properly when the aircraft is flying over water, which may prevent it from actively avoiding the water surface when landing. Users should maintain control of the aircraft at all times, make operational decisions based on assessment of the surrounding environment, and not rely solely on the visual system. The visual positioning system cannot detect certain objects or surfaces, including large structures with frames and cables (e.g., tower cranes, high-voltage transmission towers, high-voltage transmission lines, suspension bridges); surfaces with no texture or scattered texture; surfaces with repeating identical patterns or textures (e.g., small tiles of the same color); areas of solid color (e.g., pure black, pure white, pure red, pure green); highly reflective or specular surfaces (e.g., ice, road signs); water or transparent surfaces; surfaces of moving objects (e.g., over a moving crowd, over waving bushes or grass); moving obstacles (e.g., people walking, moving vehicles); scenes with drastic changes in lighting; surfaces that are extremely dark (e.g., less than 1 lux) or extremely bright (e.g., greater than 100,000 lux); materials with strong infrared absorption or reflection properties (e.g. mirrors, glass, road signs, asphalt); small obstacles (e.g. fences, branches, power lines); and thin poles or small vertical objects (e.g. lamp posts, street lamps). Do not block or interfere with the camera system under any circumstances. Ensure that all lenses remain clean, free of dirt, smudges or other debris, and are not scratched. After prolonged storage, the camera system may need to be calibrated.
A prompt will appear in the DJI Fly app and calibration will be performed automatically. Do not fly in rain, smog, or when visibility is less than 100 m. Before taking off, check the glass surfaces of the sensor system. Remove any protective films, stickers, or other obstructions. If there are water droplets, fingerprints, or smudges on the glass, clean the glass with a lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or other organic solvents. If the glass surface is loose, broken, scratched, or worn, send the drone to an authorized service center for repair. For more details, please refer to the product user manual.
3. Observe the following conditions and precautions when using gesture control: When using this feature, make sure the surrounding area is safe and avoid moving people, animals, or vehicles. Do not use gesture control in areas
with small or thin objects (e.g. branches or power lines), transparent objects (e.g. glass or water), or solid-colored surfaces (e.g. white walls). Use this feature only in environments with adequate lighting. Gesture control will not work if the ambient lighting is lower than 5 lux or higher than 100,000 lux. Gesture control is only supported
in Spotlight or Follow mode and is not supported when using the remote controller or motion controller. When using this feature, keep the drone approximately 2 to 5 m away from the operator. Keep your fingers fully extended when using this feature. Gesture control will not work with thick gloves or mittens, and the subject should be fully visible in the camera's field of view without any obstructions. When using the Return to Palm feature, keep the drone and palm within a horizontal distance of 2 to 5 m, and the vertical distance no more than 2 m. If the feature does not respond within a short distance, adjust the drone's position using gesture control or move to avoid blind spots and try again. If you want the drone to return to flying by raising one arm, keep it within a horizontal distance of 10 m from the arm, make sure the arm is fully extended when raised, and do not raise both arms at the same time, as this will prevent the drone from flying.
4. In open environments, we recommend using ActiveTrack. Please refer to the user manual for unsupported scenarios or scenarios that may potentially interrupt filming. In complex environments with many obstacles, please be careful when using Auto mode to ensure flight safety and personal safety.
5. When taking off and landing in the palm, follow these instructions: use in calm weather if possible; extend the palm horizontally
and keep it still, avoid contact of fingers with propellers to prevent injury; do not try to catch the drone during flight.
6. New flight capabilities apply to the DJI Neo 2's ability to fly both indoors and outdoors, with significantly improved performance
compared to DJI Neo, especially in conditions such as flying over water or snow. Always comply with local laws and regulations, certification requirements, and flight permits, and ensure that you have read and obtained all necessary permits before using the drone. Flight performance may be reduced if the drone is flown near solid-colored, transparent, or poorly textured surfaces with weak GNSS signals. Always fly with caution in a well-lit environment. When flying over water, maintain an altitude of at least 1 m to ensure safety. For more details, please refer to the product user manual.
7. The maximum resolution in vertical shooting mode is 2.7K.
8. DJI Goggles N3 or DJI Goggles 3 are required along with DJI RC Motion 3 or DJI FPV Remote Controller 3. When using DJI Neo 2, please comply with local laws and regulations and ensure flight safety.
9. It only supports English and Chinese.
10. Connecting DJI Neo 2 to a mobile phone via Wi-Fi is required.
11. For information on mobile device compatibility, please visit the DJI Fly app download page, and for information on Bluetooth device compatibility, please see the list of compatible Bluetooth devices.
12. DJI Neo 2 Digital Transceiver is required along with a designated remote controller and goggles. These accessories can be obtained by purchasing certain kits or purchased separately.
13. Video transmission distances of 10 km can only be achieved if regulations are followed FCC. Measured in an unobstructed outdoor environment without interference from the remote controller or goggles and demonstrated the longest communication range for one-way non-return flights under each standard. The maximum video transmission distance in real-world flight scenarios is limited by the maximum flight distance of the drone. Always pay attention to the RTH reminders on the live view during flight.
14. Maximum speed measured in an open, windless environment when the drone took off from a height of 0 m and was controlled by a remote controller. The data is for guidance only.
15. 4K/100fps slow-motion video recording is only supported when using the remote control or motion controller.
16. The stabilization switch (On/Off) is only available when paired with glasses. If stabilization is off, captured footage supports offline stabilization using Gyroflow.
17. The number of batteries that can be charged simultaneously depends on the power of the charger used. Using a charger with a power of more than 45W allows you to charge three batteries simultaneously. Using a charger with a power of between 30W and 45W allows you to charge only two batteries simultaneously. Using a charger with a power of less than 30W charges the batteries sequentially, from the highest remaining charge to the lowest. See the charging protocols supported by the charger.
18. Measured in a low-interference laboratory environment in countries/regions that support both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequencies. Download speeds may vary depending on actual conditions.
19. Measurement taken while flying forward at a speed of 4 m/s in still air at a height of 20 m above sea level, without a digital transmitter
DJI Neo 2, with camera settings set to 1080p/30fps, video mode off, and battery charged to 100% until discharged to 0%. Results may vary depending on environment, actual usage, and firmware version.
With a maximum tracking speed of 12 m/s [14], Neo 2 follows you smoothly even while running or cycling. The added omnidirectional obstacle sensing [2] ensures safer tracking from the front and sides, allowing you to easily capture fast movements.
Maximum tracking speed - 12 m/s [14]
Eight-way tracking (forward, backward, left, right and four diagonals) allows for smoother and more natural tracking of shots and expands creative possibilities. In difficult environments, the drone can switch to rear tracking mode, keeping the subject in focus and allowing for creative freedom with confidence.
Osemsmerové sledovanie (dopredu, dozadu, doľava, doprava a štyri diagonály) umožňuje plynulejšie a prirodzenejšie sledovanie záberov a rozširuje kreatívne možnosti. V zložitých prostrediach sa dron môže prepnúť do režimu sledovania vzadu, čím stabilne udrží objekt zaostrený a umožní kreatívnu slobodu s istotou.
