The compact DJI Osmo Pocket 4 camera with a 1-inch CMOS sensor, 3-axis mechanical stabilization, and 4K resolution at up to 240 frames per second fits in your pocket, but it does the work you'd expect from much larger, more expensive equipment. The Osmo Pocket 4 is not just an update to previous models - it's a complete redefinition of what a pocket stabilizer can achieve. With a dynamic range of 14 EV, a 10-bit D-Log color profile, OsmoAudio with four-channel audio output, and 107 GB of integrated storage, it's a device that will satisfy the demanding video creator and the budding blogger alike.
The combination of a 1-inch CMOS sensor paired with an optical system with an f/2.0 aperture delivers several key advantages over smaller sensors:
Three-axis mechanical stabilization eliminates unwanted camera movement while walking, running, cycling, or skiing, resulting in smooth, cinematic footage without any judder or vibration.
Different gimbal modes allow for even greater creative freedom:
The 2-inch, 1,000-nit, rotatable OLED touchscreen display is another great feature of the Osmo Pocket 4. You can rotate the display towards you for convenient selfies or vlogging. The 1,000-nit brightness ensures excellent readability of the display even in direct sunlight.

Osmo Pocket 4 features an advanced autofocus system that utilizes two innovative features:
Subject Lock Tracking: When activated, this feature automatically focuses on a selected subject and tracks it throughout the recording. To change focus to a different subject, simply tap the detection frame on the touchscreen. This feature is ideal for dynamic shooting where subjects move within the frame.
Registered Subject Priority: Pre-set your preferred subject and the camera will automatically prioritize focusing on it. Both functions are supported in Video, Photo Pro, and Hyperlapse modes.
DJI ActiveTrack is one of the most popular features on handheld cameras, and the Osmo Pocket 4 introduces the latest version, ActiveTrack 7.0. This technology uses advanced artificial intelligence algorithms to track your chosen subject – a person, animal, object or vehicle.
ActiveTrack 7.0 on Osmo Pocket 4 brings:
Note: ActiveTrack is not supported in Panorama, Timelapse, Motionlapse, and SpinShot modes, even when the gimbal is in FPV mode and the device is held horizontally.

Want to take a selfie without a tripod and without reaching for the shutter button? Or stop recording from a distance without interrupting the scene? The gesture control feature gives you full control even from a distance:
The effective range of gesture control is 0.5 to 5 m at 1x zoom and 1 to 7 m at 2x zoom – plenty of room for creative shooting without an assistant.
Osmo Pocket 4 features 2x lossless zoom, allowing you to zoom in on distant subjects without any degradation in image quality. Unlike digital zoom, which simply enlarges the image and reduces its sharpness, lossless zoom uses the sensor's native resolution to maintain maximum sharpness even when zooming in.
The Zoom button allows you to seamlessly switch between 1× and 2× zoom – a single press toggles between these values, a double press activates 4× zoom (with a slight reduction in quality).
Note: Lossless 2x zoom is not available in Low-Light, Slow Motion, and Timelapse modes.

Slow Shutter Video: In Video mode, Osmo Pocket 4 supports long exposure shooting. Manually adjust the shutter speed to achieve a motion blur effect – perfect for nighttime streets, waterfalls, or car light trails.
Motionlapse: Set up to four positions to create dynamic time-lapse videos. Osmo Pocket 4 moves the gimbal between the positions you set, creating smooth camera movement—perfect for sunsets, moving clouds, or busy city streets.
Auto Landscape/Portrait: The camera automatically recognizes the orientation of the display (landscape or portrait) and adjusts the composition of the shot. This feature is extremely practical when creating content for different platforms - horizontal format for YouTube, vertical for Instagram Reels or TikTok.
Panorama Photo: Switch to panorama mode to capture vast scenes in a single, high-resolution composite shot.

Great images deserve great sound. DJI Osmo Pocket 4 features OsmoAudio, which supports 4-channel audio output. The camera connects directly to DJI Mic transmitters (sold separately), capturing clear voice from the DJI Mic while simultaneously recording ambient sounds through the camera's built-in microphones.
Other audio features:
Forget about memory cards. Osmo Pocket 4 has 107GB of onboard storage, enough for hours of filming, even in high definition. You can transfer data wirelessly via Wi-Fi 6 (up to 90MB/s) or via USB 3.1 with speeds up to 800MB/s – one of the fastest transfer speeds in this category.
Osmo Pocket 4 boasts both exceptional battery life and fast charging:
Tested at room temperature of 25°C with Wi-Fi and display off.
Osmo Pocket 4 supports 4K DisplayPort video output for connecting to an external monitor or recorder. For live streaming to platforms like YouTube, Facebook Live, or Twitch, use Wi-Fi live streaming in 1080p. It also supports streaming to a computer via UVC or DP video output (capture card required).
For professional multi-camera shooting, Osmo Pocket 4 features an integrated Timecode system with less than 1 frame per 8 hours (between 0°C and 40°C). This accuracy allows for fast and seamless synchronization of multiple cameras in post-production.
The gimbal automatically locks when the camera is turned off, protecting the mechanism from damage during transport. There is also a manual lock for faster and safer carrying in a bag or backpack.

The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 is a pocket-sized gimbal camera released in 2026 with a 1-inch CMOS sensor, 3-axis mechanical gimbal, and 4K video at up to 240 fps. It has 107 GB of built-in storage, a 2-inch rotating OLED display, and a 3-hour battery life.
No.
Yes. The touchscreen, gesture controls, and automatic modes work without any prior experience. For those who want to go deeper, there are manual settings, 10-bit D-Log, and timecode — but it's not a requirement.
It lasts up to 3 hours when recording in 1080p/24fps. The battery life is shorter when recording in 4K. Fast charging recharges the battery to 80% in 18 minutes.
No. The built-in 107 GB is enough for 240 minutes of recording at 1080p/24fps. For comparison — a typical half-day of shooting is usually 2 to 3 hours. But if you need to increase the capacity, you can use the microSD slot.
The Pocket 4 has a 1-inch sensor — the area is 2.7x larger than in the Pocket 3. Dynamic range has increased from 11 to 14 stops. Slow motion has improved from 4K/120fps to 4K/240fps. ActiveTrack is in version 7.0 and 107 GB of built-in memory has been added, so a microSD card is not needed, but it is possible to use microSD.
On the Object Management page, you can register and manage up to three objects, which can be the same person if necessary. After registration is complete, you can enable the “Registered Objects Only” gesture control option. When the “Registered Object Priority” focus mode is enabled, Osmo Pocket 4 prioritizes focusing on the registered object. When the “Spotlight Tracking” tracking mode is enabled, Osmo Pocket 4 quickly tracks the registered object.
Yes. The camera supports 1080p Wi-Fi livestreaming directly to YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram without a computer or external encoder.
Significantly better than most cameras in this class. The 1-inch sensor with an f/2.0 aperture captures images indoors in artificial lighting without visible grain. It's not a replacement for a camera with a larger sensor in extremely low light, but it works reliably for common indoor scenes.
Notes:
1. 4K 240fps video recording is only supported in Slow Motion mode.
2. For both Normal and D-Log color profiles, the maximum dynamic range is 14 EV. In Slow Motion mode, the actual dynamic range may be less than 14 EV.
3. D-Log color profile with 10-bit depth is only supported in regular Video mode.
4. 2x lossless zoom is not supported in Low-Light, Slow Motion, and Timelapse modes.

6. ActiveTrack is not supported in Panorama, Timelapse, Motionlapse, and SpinShot modes, or when the gimbal is in FPV mode and the device is held horizontally. For optimal tracking performance, we recommend using the device in a well-lit environment. ActiveTrack updates are available in the DJI Mimo app. For more information, please contact the DJI Customer Support team.
7. For four-channel output, a DJI Mic Transmitter must be connected. Direct connection to the first-generation DJI Mic is not supported. DJI microphones are sold separately.
8. Subject Lock Tracking and Registered Subject Priority are supported in Video and Photo Pro modes, as well as Hyperlapse mode. They are not available in Panorama, Timelapse, or Motionlapse modes.
9. The effective range for gesture control is 0.5 to 5m at 1x zoom and 1 to 7m at 2x zoom. To control ActiveTrack or filming, use the appropriate gestures (palm or V sign) and do not cover your head with your hand. The effective range may change in the future depending on firmware updates.
10. The Film Tone and Beautify functions in the camera are only available in Video mode and cannot be used simultaneously. When the Film Tone function is on, the Beautify settings in the camera are not available. If the Beautify function in the camera is already active, switching to Film Tone mode will disable the function.
11. The Glamour Effects feature in the app is only available in Video and Low-Light modes, not available in Photo mode or other modes.
12. Before filming, enable the App Glamour Effects feature on Osmo Pocket 4. After filming is complete, export the footage to the DJI Mimo app where you can apply Glamour Effects.
