The Osmo Pocket 4P Vlog Combo is a complete kit for filming spoken content. It includes a dual-lens camera, an Osmo FrameTap remote controller with a range of 25 meters, a DJI Mic Mini 2 wireless microphone transmitter, a mini tripod, a light, and a bag. You set up the camera, go, and film — without an assistant and without running back to the shutter. Price €701, which is €90 more than the Standard Combo. The camera has not yet reached the European market, but you can reserve it at Xtreme.sk without obligation.
This is why the Vlog Combo exists. Three things in the package work together to change the way you film yourself.
You set up the camera on the Osmo Mini Tripod. You move ten meters away. You see the camera capturing you on the FrameTap display, double-tap to start tracking, and from that moment on, ActiveTrack keeps you in the center of the frame, even as you move. You use the joystick to fine-tune the composition or zoom in. You start and stop recording from where you are standing.
Without this trio, you would have to come to the camera every time you try. With ten tries, that's twenty trips there and back.
FrameTap is a small controller with its own touchscreen that shows you a live feed from the camera. The range is 25 meters, with DJI recommending staying within 10 meters for the most stable connection.
What you will do with it directly:
Important to consider: DJI currently only offers the Osmo FrameTap in bundles. It is not available separately. It will likely be available as an accessory later, but has not yet announced a date or price. If you buy the Standard Combo and later find out you need it, you will have to wait for it to be released and pay a separate price. straight from the camera.
The package includes the DJI Mic Mini 2 transmitter, including a magnetic clip, a wind cover, two magnetic front covers (white and black), and a charging cable.
The transmitter connects directly to the camera via Bluetooth, without a receiver. DJI calls the system OsmoAudio, and in practice, it means you clip a thumb-sized clip to your lapel, leave the camera where it is, and the audio is recorded directly to it. No extra box, no cable, nothing to set up.
The transmitter weighs 11 grams, records at 48 kHz and lasts for approximately 11.5 hours. It has three voice profiles (Regular, Rich, Bright), two-stage ambient noise cancellation and automatic protection against distortion at loud sounds.
You can hear the difference with built-in microphones immediately when you are standing more than a meter away from the camera or when the wind is blowing. Built-in microphones are good for what is close. The lapel transmitter records your voice no matter where the camera is.
This is the most underrated part of the entire camera for creators who film themselves.
The wide-angle 20mm lens distorts the face when you stand close. The nose looks bigger, the ears recede, the face is optically stretched. That's why vlogs shot with a phone at arm's length look the way they do.
A 60mm telephoto lens is a classic portrait focal length that eliminates this effect. Plus, the f/1.8 aperture on the 1/1.28-inch sensor blurs the background to about the level of f/6.3 on a full-frame SLR, separating you from the surroundings behind you. When shooting indoors or in a coffee shop, it's the difference between a home video and a shot that looks intentional.
The switch is physical — the camera switches to the second lens with its own sensor, it doesn't crop. So you don't lose sharpness in a zoomed-in shot.
Most spoken content is shot indoors, often by a window. It's the worst lighting situation there is: there's many times more light behind you than on your face.
The new 1-inch sensor with LOFIC technology handles 17 stops of dynamic range, so it keeps your face and what's behind the window in one shot. A regular camera has to choose — either your face is in shadow, or the window is blown out white.
The Fill Light included in the package helps with this. It illuminates your face in three brightness levels (12, 25 and 40 lux at a distance of 0.6 m) and in three light temperatures (2800 K warm, 4000 K neutral, 5500 K cool), so you can match the color of the light to the environment.
If you're colour grading your video, the camera records in 10-bit D-Log 2 with over a billion colour shades. If not, six film tones (CC Film, NC Film, Pastel, Warm Tone, Movie, Retro) give your video a straight-from-camera look.
The camera shoots straight vertically in 3K (1728x3072) resolution at 24 to 60 frames per second. You don't have to shoot in landscape and then crop, which would lose both resolution and control over the composition.
If you need both versions, you shoot horizontally in 4K and extract the vertical crop when editing — 4K has enough pixels for that.
The three-axis mechanical gimbal compensates for movement with motors before recording, unlike a phone that crops the image and calculates it in software. The accuracy is ±0.005°.
For walking vlogging, this means smooth, jump-free footage, even when walking up stairs or on pavement. The field of view remains full because nothing is cropped.
Multi-Person Tracking keeps up to eight people in the frame at once. For interviews and podcasts, this means that when someone joins you, the gimbal will automatically recompose the shot so that both people are in the frame.
One limitation: you can't change the zoom while this feature is on, so adjust the zoom before turning it on.
The 1545 mAh battery lasts for 210 minutes at 1080p/24fps with Wi-Fi and display off, according to DJI. Expect shorter times at 4K and display on. It takes 18 minutes to charge to 80%, so you can top it up during a break.
The microphone lasts for approximately 11.5 hours, so you won't have to deal with it during the day.
The built-in 103 GB is enough for about 75 minutes of highest quality. With long conversations, you'll fill it up quickly, so we recommend a microSD card (up to 1 TB) right from the start.
It depends on what you're shooting.
Yes, if you film yourself with spoken commentary. Vlogs, reviews, interviews, tutorials. In this scenario, you will use both the microphone and the remote control every time you film, and the €90 will be returned on the first day when you don't have to run to the camera and back.
Yes, if you're not sure. FrameTap is not sold separately yet. DJI will probably release it as an accessory later, but when and for how much, no one knows yet. You have it in the package right away and it's included in the €90 that also covers the microphone, tripod and bag. Buying accessories separately is always more expensive than the package.
Not if you shoot mostly images. Landscape, travel without commentary, family video, product shots. Your microphone will be in a drawer. Save €90 and buy a memory card and tripod for them — the Standard Combo for €624 is a more reasonable choice in this case.
If you were to buy at least the microphone and tripod separately, you'd get about half of that €90. The rest covers the FrameTap and the bag — and in the case of the FrameTap, without waiting for DJI to even release it for separate sale.
The Vlog Combo includes the Osmo Pocket 4P camera, Osmo FrameTap remote controller, DJI Mic Mini 2 wireless microphone transmitter with clip, windscreen and two magnetic covers, Osmo Mini Tripod, Fill Light, 1/4″ handle, carrying case, larger bag, USB-C PD cable and charging cables for the controller and microphone. DJI's suggested retail price is €716.
The Vlog Combo costs around €90 more and adds four things: the Osmo FrameTap remote controller, the DJI Mic Mini 2 microphone transmitter with accessories, the Osmo Mini Tripod, and a larger carrying case. The camera itself is identical in both packages. The Vlog Combo is aimed at creators who film themselves with spoken commentary.
The Osmo FrameTap is a remote controller with its own touchscreen that displays a live view of the camera. It lets you start recording, activate ActiveTrack, rotate the gimbal, change zoom, switch modes, and check the battery from up to 25 meters away. DJI recommends using it within 10 meters for the most stable connection.
Not yet. DJI currently only supplies it as part of the package and does not offer it for separate sale. According to DJI's previous practice, it can be expected that it will later be available as an optional accessory, but it has not yet announced a specific date or price. If you are counting on remote camera control, the Vlog Combo will give it to you immediately and in the price of the package. As soon as FrameTap is available separately, we will add it to the Xtreme.sk offer.
No. The transmitter connects directly to the Osmo Pocket 4P camera via Bluetooth as part of the DJI OsmoAudio system. You don't need a receiver or connection cable, which is why only the transmitter is included in the package. You clip it to your clothing and the audio is recorded directly to the camera.
The manufacturer states approximately 11.5 hours of transmitter operation. The transmitter weighs 11 grams, records at a sampling rate of 48 kHz and offers three voice profiles (Regular, Rich, Bright), two-stage ambient noise cancellation and automatic protection against distortion at loud sounds.
A 20mm wide-angle lens distorts the face when shooting close-ups — the nose appears larger and the face is optically stretched. The 60mm focal length is a classic portrait distance that eliminates this distortion. Plus, the f/1.8 aperture blurs the background to about f/6.3 on a full-frame camera, making the speaker stand out from the crowd.
Yes. The camera records vertically in 3K (1728×3072) resolution at 24 to 60 frames per second, so you don't have to crop your footage for Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts from horizontal video and you don't lose resolution.
No, the card is not included in the package. The camera initially has 103 GB of built-in memory, which is equivalent to about 75 minutes in the highest quality. However, with spoken content, the material will be copied faster than with edited footage, because interviews and tutorials are filmed in long uninterrupted blocks. If you plan on this type of content, get a card now. We recommend cards with fast writing, e.g. SanDisk micro SDXC card 256GB Extreme GO.
If you shoot mostly landscapes, travel footage without commentary, family videos or product shots, and you don't use the microphone or remote control regularly, it makes more sense to buy the Standard Combo for €624 and invest the €90 you save in a memory card and tripod.
DJI has published specifications and European recommended prices, but the delivery date for the European market has not yet been announced. This applies to both packages. By reserving the Vlog Combo on Xtreme.sk, you pay nothing in advance and are not obligated to anything, you just join the queue and you will find out about the stock availability before the market.
